Class Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our Rifle 1 course provides students with a systematic approach to mastering their skills with a carbine rifle. The course will include a thorough review of nomenclature, the functions and operations of a rifle, threat identification, multiple target engagements, use of cover, positional shooting and carbine rifle deployment considerations.
This course will provide an introduction of practical and performance-based shooting with a rifle. The course will cover topics such as how vision affects our shooting and how much an impact it is, how to obtain a proper connection to the rifle, strength vs. structure, firing hand grip, use of a rifle from various distances and more.

Students will need to bring the following items:
Eye and ear protection
Serviceable carbine rifle and sling
400 rounds of ammunition
Minimum of 3 magazines and magazine holster/pouch
Pen and notebook for notes
Plenty of water
Kneepads (optional)
Rain gear
