Low-Light Applications
Odds are that you haven’t given much thought to carrying a handheld flashlight, let alone how to properly use it. Our Low-Light Applications course is designed to help students understand how to properly activate, manage, and manipulate their flashlights. Whether it be a handheld flashlight or a weapon mounted flashlight, this course will help you understand the primary purpose of using a flashlight as well as the necessary methods to succeed in a low-light encounter.
Pistol 2
This course is the follow-up to Pistol 1. This course will have a heavy emphasis on movement, how to call your shots, reloading, entering and exiting shooting positions, multiple target engagements and more. The last part of this course will include competition stages. You must have taken and completed Pistol 1 to be eligible to take Pistol 2 or be able to provide documentation of other training courses completed if requested. If you have not taken Pistol 1, you can still be eligible for Pistol 2 with the proper experience.

Pistol Skill Solutions 1- Stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger management
Performance Pistol
Performance Pistol is a fast-paced class that will focus entirely on performance. This class is designed for the person already shooting competitions or beginning to shoot competitions. This is not an entry level class, and this class will focus on preparing students to take the next step in their competition journey. From how to prepare for classifiers, stage planning, movement, and vision, it’ll all be covered in this course. When signing up, please complete the form and list the training and/or experience you have. Someone from our staff will reach out to you directly to review your training and experience information with you. So, make sure you list a good phone number for us to reach you at as well.
Rifle 2
This course is the follow-up to Rifle 1. This course will have a heavy emphasis on movement, how to call your shots, reloading, entering and exiting shooting positions, multiple target engagements and more. The last part of this course will include competition stages. You must have taken and completed Rifle 1 to take Rifle 2 or be able to provide documentation of other training courses completed if requested. You can still be eligible to take Rifle 2 even if you have not taken Rifle 1, but you must be able to provide your experience and/or training.
These are not beginner level courses. You must understand and be able to apply basic fundamentals.
2024 LE Appreciation Class
Thanks to generous donations from local businesses, we are excited to announce the 2024 Law Enforcement Appreciation Class! We are excited to have Nick Young from Velox Training Group, joining us this year with his Rifle Mechanics course. Students will be able to choose between two different courses offered by MP47 Training, Velox Training Group and Noble Arms.
Registration is limited and you must complete the required form(s) when signing up. Once you have registered, you are required to send your credentials to info@mp47.org. Once we have received your credentials, we will send you an email confirmation of your registration in the class. If you register for the class and fail to send your credentials within 24 hours, we will move on and open your spot back up.
Red Dot Pistol Performance
This course is designed for those that are transitioning to a RDS (Red Dot Sight) pistol. Topics will include:
Presentation
Holster draw
Threat focus vs. front sight focus
Shooting on the move
Transitions
Zeroing
Care and maintenance
Sight confirmation levels
Visual aggression and discipline
Attack vs control targets and speed
Pistol 1
Pistol 1 will focus on getting students to understand how vision and grip affect their shooting. This class will have a heavy emphasis on drills that will help shooters understand what’s going on with their shooting. Drills that assess grip, vision, firing hand tension and more will be introduced. This class will also cover drawing the pistol efficiently, confirmation levels, and one-handed shooting. Dry fire will also be discussed and using a proven methodology, we’ll show you why it’s important and what it can do for you.
Pistol Performance for Law Enforcement
This course is designed for the officers who are looking to take the next step in their pistol shooting skills. The course is designed for officers and agency range instructors, who are ready to add a layer of training to their skillset. The course will have a heavy emphasis on vision, movement, transitions and getting away from the static training environment. This course will not include any tactics and be purely focused on achieving performance with your pistol.
Rifle 1
Our Rifle 1 course provides students with a systematic approach to mastering their skills with a carbine rifle. The course will include a thorough review of nomenclature, the functions and operations of a rifle, threat identification, multiple target engagements, use of cover, positional shooting and carbine rifle deployment considerations.
This course will provide an introduction of practical and performance-based shooting with a rifle. The course will cover topics such as how vision affects our shooting and how much an impact it is, how to obtain a proper connection to the rifle, strength vs. structure, firing hand grip, use of a rifle from various distances and more.

Concealed Carry Dynamics
Concealed Carry Dynamics is designed to help students increase their knowledge in concealed carry applications. Students are asked to bring their everyday concealed carry (EDC) pistol and their concealment holster of choice for the class. We ask that the students attending wear normal everyday apparel and to attend the class wearing and carrying in the manner that they normally would. If you have more than one pistol that you carry concealed, we want you to bring it and the holster associated with it, to the class so that you can work through your different concealed carry applications.

Dynamic Rifle
Dynamic Rifle is a course designed for those who have a solid understanding of the fundamentals rifle/carbine shooting and is looking for the next step in progression. This course will have an emphasis on shooting on the move, weapon manipulation, transitions and learning how to build the balance of speed and accuracy. The course will include a brief overview and discussion of rifle and gear considerations. This is not a beginner level course and will involve physical activity that includes running, kneeling, crouching, and shooting from positions of disadvantage for an extended amount of time. 2-Day Vehicle Combat
Our 2-Day Vehicle Combat course is designed to help students learn how to fight and survive inside and around a vehicle. This course will provide students with a curriculum that is essential to winning an encounter in the vehicle environment.
Most of us are in and out of our vehicles everyday. Are you prepared for an attack in your vehicle? Are you prepared to protect yourself and the ones you love that might be in the vehicle with you? This course provides the training you need to make sure you are prepared for an attack while inside of the vehicle and outside of the vehicle. This course includes an option for PCC/Rifle deployment. Concealed Carry Dynamics
A thorough review of the legal aspects of being involved in a self-defense situation will be reviewed in the class. Our instructors will also cover different types of concealed carry holsters including inside-the-waistband (IWB), appendix inside-the-waistband (AIWB), and outside-the-waistband (OWB). Equipment selection and methods of carry for the intended application will be discussed also. Students will be taught and shown how to quickly and efficiently draw from their holster of choice, acquire threat identification, and engage the threat with the consistent application of the fundamentals. We want you to get out of the mindset that having carrying a firearm means you are prepared for a self-defense encounter where you may have to use lethal force.
