Odds are that you haven’t given much thought to carrying a handheld flashlight, let alone how to properly use it. Our Low-Light Applications course is designed to help students understand how to properly activate, manage, and manipulate their flashlights. Whether it be a handheld flashlight or a weapon mounted flashlight, this course will help you understand the primary purpose of using a flashlight as well as the necessary methods to succeed in a low-light encounter.

What you need:

  • Serviceable handgun

  • Eye and ear protection

  • 400 rounds of ammunition

  • Holster for handgun and a method to carry an additional magazine

  • Handheld flashlight at a minimum

  • A method to carry/holster the flashlight in

  • Weapon mounted flashlight (optional)

  • Rain gear
